Mayor Mike Spano serves as the 42nd Mayor of the City of Yonkers. A lifelong Yonkers resident, husband, father of three, and former State Assembly Member, Mayor Spano has dedicated his life to standing up for Yonkers families.
With a focus on economic development and job creation, Mayor Spano has kick-started Yonkers’ economic engine with innovative new projects that are transforming Yonkers growing waterfront, welcoming new businesses across the city and hundreds of new tech jobs.

Mayor Mike Spano serves as the 42nd Mayor of the City of Yonkers. A lifelong Yonkers resident, husband, father of three, and former State Assembly Member, Mayor Spano has dedicated his life to standing up for Yonkers families.
The City Council is comprised of seven members, each elected to a four year term. The City Council routinely meets on the second and fourth Tuesday of the month, with preliminary rules meetings on the first and third Tuesdays.
As the custodian of legislation, the Office of the City Clerk is responsible for scheduling and preparing council meetings as well as recording and tracking the official records of said meetings.
